Schedule

10:15 am - Thursday, April 20
Drop, Cover, and Hold On

The University earthquake exercise drill will begin with a Campus Alert text message.

Please follow the directions of the text message, and tell others around you. Faculty and staff are aware that this event is taking place, and everyone has permission to participate. However, if you are essential personnel in the University Hospital or in other areas of campus please follow specific counsel from your supervisor.

10:18 am - Thursday, April 20
All Clear, Back to School (and work)

The University earthquake exercise drill will stop with a Campus Alert text message.

Please follow the directions of the text message, and tell others around you. Go back to class, or your office, or wherever you evacuated from. Think about how practicing Drop, Cover, and Hold On has made you more aware of what to do in an earthquake.

Note: Hospital and Health Sciences employees will continue with their exercise while main campus goes back to classes and offices. Please follow the instructions on Intercomm or contact Health Sciences Emergency Management at 801-585-3134.

We are working hard to make sure that the university population is safe during any emergency. Thanks for your help during The Great Utah ShakeOut.
